М62-1731 was built in 1983 at the Voroshilovgrad Octoberrevolution Locomotive works. Currently it serves as an exhibit in Central Oktyabrskaya railway museum (located in Saint-Petersburg)
This model is a highly detailed copy of the prototype locomotive which uses textures based on photo-material. A highly detailed cabin model based on photos of M62 series is also included. Functionality and traction specifications are as close to the original.
